Elf Ramblings
For those of us who love Christmas, Elf Roberta and I found two books that are awesome. We really enjoy and recommend both for the young and old alike. They are written by Rod Green. One is "Santa Claus" and the other is "Santa's Reindeer".
We found an On-Line web site that makes great signs. The site allows the user to design the entire sign on-line. We ordered several from them. Their web site is http://www.buildasign.com
Clown Antics is a great source for striped Santa and Elf socks. They are by far the best we have found. Very heavy duty with a padded foot. They also have the swirl socks too.
5/20/09 We picked up a new "Ranch Sleigh" from Santa. Naturally it's a Deere.
5/24/09 Each month, ClausNET's Featured Member section profiles one ClausNET member. Members are chosen totally at random by Santa Rielly and the staff. Elf Roberta and I were selected as the ClausNET Featured Members for the Month for June 2009. Elf Roberta and I are thankful to ClausNET for this high honor.
6/19/09 Santa visited the reindeer barn and inspected the construction of the new reindeer stalls.
7/15/09 We are now on Facebook. Come join and become our reindeer friends. We are under Rick N Roberta Smith.
9/12/09 Visited our friends Daryl, Yvonne and Bev at the Crystal Collection Reindeer Farm in Lake Crystal MN. Outstanding operation, with awesome reindeer.
9/12/09 Our friend Josh Woods designed the logo for the Double R Reindeer Ranch. It's pretty neat how he incorporated the RR with antlers and Rudolph's red nose.
9/24/09 Installed new custom stall fronts on the reindeer stalls. These fold down in half which will allow visitors to see the reindeer better.

Comet and Santa Felix are on the Holiday issue of the Reindeer Owners & Breeders Associations newsletter. Members submitted their photos and the winning photo was chosen for the front cover.

Santa has a mailbox in the Reindeer Barn. So bring your letters for Santa with you when you visit the ranch. If Santa's not here when you visit, you can leave the letter in the mailbox. (put your name and address on the letter).
